Welcome to Fire Protection Pumps (FPP) – a dynamic, forward-thinking company at the forefront of the fire and safety sector. While we're a young company, we bring a wealth of experience and passion to everything we do. 

Our team is made up of highly skilled professionals who live and breathe fire pump systems – both diesel and electric.

At the heart of FPP is our founder and director, Ahmad Awad. Ahmad’s journey began early – at just 7 years old, he was already turning wrenches in his family’s garage, learning the art of diesel mechanics alongside his father. 

By the age of 12, he was independently fitting engines and drivetrains under supervision, showcasing a natural talent and deep curiosity for the trade.

After completing his diesel mechanic apprenticeship at 21, Ahmad quickly developed his reputation in some of Melbourne’s top workshops and diesel plants. 

Known for solving complex issues that even dealerships found challenging, he earned the respect of industry veterans and the trust of authorized operators alike. 

His expertise led to multiple job offers and partnership opportunities. But he had a bigger vision – to build his own company where innovation, quality, and passion drive every project. Today, that vision is Fire Protection Pumps.
